It shouldn’t really matter with NewsNow whether you submit the main URL, or the feed address as it is checked by a human. Don’t worry about the headlines thing, they work with RSS and Atom feeds. Yours is just your URL with either /feed/ or /feed/RSS/ tacked on the end.

Last time I looked at it, it just said “URL of news pages”, with nothing about just wanting headlines. Give it another couple of weeks or so and don’t oversubmit.

Ah right, I’ve done it right so I think.
Think I’ve submitted it twice though and the 4 weeks have passed as far as I can remember. Here’s hoping!

StanHardy – I know exactly who you are, which is why I wanted to make sure I wasn’t causing offence.

I believe (perhaps obscurely) that 52 is a bright lad but so often twisted in his views that I find it impossible to take him seriously. Which is a bit of shame to be honest.

I’m not getting into a debate 52, your aggression is chanelled in an obscure and negative manner. There are things worth fighting for but it should be the last resort. Spilling blood in Central Station in amongst innocent bystanders for nothing other than bragging rights is not a noble cause. No matter how you want to analyse it.

StanHardy – please don’t feel I was condoning 52times. Merely sardonically humouring him for his ridiculous views (though I guess without knowing the history it may have been misconstrued). My comments are sarcastic, though my reference to troublemakers getting a bashing holds true. After all, that’s what they were looking for. Involving innocent fans and the general public is clearly unforgivable. But these ‘hard cases’ tend not to worry about those minor issues.

The fact is you couln’t meet a bigger pacifist than me. Do as worky says, treat 52 as the pent-up and twisted fellow he unfortunately becomes at times.
