Jonah is and was the most heavily fouled of our players in the EPL and again this year, I don't think he is a prima donna player who folds at the most minimal of contacts.  Bit more protection from officials and we would get a lot more from him, a very good buy imo. He has deceptive pace and was`nt named "toro nino" for nothing, has to improve his finishing when attacking. Jonas like many wingers, relies  mainly on pace and has yet to prove capeable of scoring or putting a decent cross into the box,  jury`s  still out on him. Of the three Colo. is the most difficult to judge, there have been games where he has been outstanding and others where he compared unfavorable to Titus Bramble at his worst. As has been said, it would have been very easy for them to engineer moves away like players from last season who "loved the club" and "wanted to stay and fight". Granted, they are on a fair whack, but they still need to show application in games, which they have done and it would have been easy for them to go on cruise control. As Stardust says, all 3 of them will play in the premiership if we go up and who knows, maybe a season getting bullied and harrased in the championship will stand them in good stead? Lets hope so eh? On the £80,000 per week thing I admit I’m not totally certain and it was something of a ‘flip’ comment. A very large majority of sources have quoted it at £80,000, and a very small minority have quoted it at something less than that. However, I wouldn’t go to court with those figures.
