“He’s just recovered from a triple fracture to the cheekbone… He was pushed by Kenwyne Jones, who’s a big boy… We don’t speak about other team’s players… If you want to talk about other player’s teams I find it incredible that the Sunderland captain didn’t get sent off”.

So he clearly upheld the whole moral obligation to not talk about other team’s players. “But he did it first!…” yeah, and eye for an eye and all that… Don’t be so childish mate, you’re a grown bloke in proffessional football and sound like a wound up immature kid.

Also I love the fact at not ONE point did he say he was pushed in the face, or justified Illunga receiving treatment to the eye/face. The reporter should have had more balls and just said “In your opinion, was Illunga pushed in the face, making the reaction justifiable?”.
But of course that sort of a question is way too direct for the person to skirt his way around with lies.
