NUFC Blog writers, Debbie Rozario (Geordie Deb), Steve Thompson (Bowburnmag), Simon Baker (Toonsy) and Paul Newsome (Workyticket) have been interviewed along ESPN Star’s Alvin Lee for “The Fans’ Voice” on the ESPN Star website.

We answered questions such as “What is the best or worst your club can achieve in the Premier League next season?”, “Who is your key player?”, “Which area of the team do you think needs strengthening?” and many (well, a few) more.

  1. I hope the team spirit and the quality continues through to next season. It’s great to see the team get some recognition after all the hard work and they certainly deserve to be in the premier league next year.

Keep up the good work next year, you all deserve a pat on the back.

Hope the football team do well also …

  2. Hi i am not a newcastle fan but for me they mean a lot.One club which i wanted never to be relegated was newcastle.I don’t know why maybe cause of nicky, shearer, given i don’t know but now they are back i hope they learn from their mistakes and get rid of their owner and it’s good to see them back because i really like em congrats newcastle.

  3. I see Ashley’s wealth has gone up 190 million! Any chance of any of that this summer mr Ashley?

<<<<< stu we know the answer too that dont we heres a quid

  5. Shout’s going out to:
Lee Clarke for getting huddersfield into the play offs,.
    Fraser Forster champion with norwich.
    Gateshead for saving their ass.

    Also,
smoggies another year as chumps, ha!
    :)

  6. hi lads! buying players is not going to be a problem lads but the wages. the wage cap is going to be a big problem on where the club is going. which is going to be a good thing of having a limit on what the club expects to make in the prem next year and having a 50% wage limit on what we earn. if liverpool can make nearly 200 mil then we can easily get up to 150 without going into champs league. slow steps in what we need. i realy think ashley paniced when he and all the others lost money and he was going throu a bad time and we as club didnt take that into consideration now that he is making a lot of money he is putting it in.so with a good run club he can make money with us and still make a profit each year with a good business plan which he does have which he didnt show at the start when he bought us.

  7. Alreet asim,
don’t think a profit is that important tbh, as he did say he was in it for fun.
    But, y’right,
now he’s started making money again & the fake recession is over, & we’re champs, he’s probably a lot happier.
& a lot more prepared to run the club properly.
He’s also got a ‘bit’ of experience now.

  8. Shit!
The papers are convinced or at least trying to convince us that ipswich spoiled the party.
    Yawn.
No they didn’t, we didn’t lose at home all season, so piss off.

  9. So Worky thinks we can finish in the top 7 next season! Due to our defensive fortitude – That might have something to do with the fact that no club in this shitty league has a striker who can finish.

Do you know something we don’t? Either that or you’re on something..

  10. 1. top ten or relegated 2. jonas key player needs to stay fit.3. nolan didnt like him but did the job.4.great so could stick 2 fingers up to all the people who said we would get relegated.5.no! but who is.6.central midfield is a must or we will struggle to keep the ball and right back next then centre back.7. haRRIS and airey.8.25 years.9.tino and ginola.

“Do you know something we don’t? Either that or you’re on something..”

No, Stuart. You’re just deliberately misrepresenting what I’m saying again, as you usually do. ;-)

  12. Stuart,

“I do not think that we will be relegated due to our defensive fortitude. I see us coming anywhere between just above the relegation places with around 35-40 points to around 55 points. If we are very lucky, we might get an Europa League place.”

“No, Stuart. You’re just deliberately misrepresenting what I’m saying again, as you usually do.”

    It’s called selective reading ;)

  14. You quite clearly say that we might get a Europa League place – How’s that mis-representing what you said?

Unless you mean we might get there via the fair play league, in which case you should make it clear.
