  1. Just watched the two goal highlights, gotta say both were quality goals, go Ameobi’s !

But here we are again in the same spot we were when beaten in the same tournament, that Pardew blamed on the kids, due in fact to Ashley’s parsimony in refusing to buy anyone, especially when we were involved in a European cup.
Guess no one told him ?
While some are claiming we are still short this season, as those not playing regularly are loaned out (save a buck on wages) but don’t expect any reinforcements, as that decision has already been made, plus we ain’t gonna get any £20m. for Cabaye, which if we don’t sell him, will create an angry unsettled player in the dressing room.
So much for for the attempt to set up a bidding war between PSG and Arsenal.
What a trio, the ignorant, the clueless and the big mouth, ain’t easy !

“What a trio, the ignorant, the clueless and the big mouth, ain’t easy !”

    Which one is which, Chuckles?

Let me guess erm, “ignorant” = Ashley, “clueless” = Kinnear and “big mouth” = Pardew?

On the other hand, there are few more clueless than Pardew (if any), and it could certainly be said that Kinnear has a very big mouth whenever someone thrusts a mic at it. Hmmm, I might change my mind to ignorant Ashley, clueless Pardew and big mouth Kinnear?

    How did I do?

  3. Sammys performance over the whole 90 minutes was the best thing about the match last night.Deflouncy was skinned
Over and over again against lower league lads,it was embarrassing to see,but for effort and heart it was Sammy,we now expect no new signings as Sammy can play up front on his own in the lone striker role, and shola will play at centre back….

“Sammys performance over the whole 90 minutes was the best thing about the match last night.”

He’s been away playing with the Smoggies though, sampdiago. Pardew will probably knock him back into shape eventually now he’s back.

Oops, sorry Chuckles, I’m moaning about Pardew again.

    hmmmm…let me give it a go…

clueless = Ashley, big mouth = Kinnear, ignorant = Pardew

…or maybe they’re totally interchangeable? I’m sure Chuck will clear this up.

  6. @ workyticket:
i see ya vendetta agains pards still gos on,as a blog writer bud you are surposed to be unbiased bud

  7. as for the game itself 1st half we were under the cosh,2 nd half vast improvement and we could easyly have won by at least 4 goals

  8. well it’s clear to everyone that he is tactically clueless. Surely the whole point of a blog is to express his views? and have debates about things? i wouldn’t even visit this site if he didn’t give his point of view if want “unbiased” go to the BBC website they are in full PC mode at the minute

  9. @ dokky:
not really seen you comment in here is that were you just come from bud the bbc websitein pc mode

  10. @ dokky:
or are you 1 of those that chats so much shit you have to change ya name every 5 mins lol

  11. @ GS:
we have had the debate on pards all summer and hes still our manager despite what most of us think, new season new slate in my view, and the constant slaging off of pards is begining to wear very thin, what happened to giving the dude a fair crack of the whip, and incase some aint noticed the toonarmy rollercoaster is on the move.

  12. TAE: I was all for giving Pards the benefit of the doubt. I even took the other side with AndyMac a few times when I thought he was being a bit pessimistic early last year. The gobshite lost me though with that Liverpool performance, and I don’t think he has it in him to turn it around.

He is a fair weather manager, all ra ra and not much substance. I mentioned this to Worky the other week.

How’s that for getting off the subject of Pardew :)

Aye dokky, that’s a pretty good description of what blogs have been designed to do.
